Prospective Student Teachers
Student teaching applications for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 were due by February 4, 2026.
If you have a compelling reason for why you need to apply late, you must contact Dr. Erica Spence-Umstead, Asst. Dean of Partnerships and Field Placements, at espenceumste@rider.edu. Your situation will be reviewed with the relevant program department chair to determine if you can be accepted as a late applicant, or if you will need to wait until the following academic year.
Applications for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 student teaching will be available on this website in January 2027.
Please contact the Field Placement Office with any questions at certificationoffice@rider.edu or 609-896-5175.
